Levitaz Front Wing Free Series

Price range: CHF 999.00 through CHF 1149.00

High-performance Levitaz Front Wing Free Series. Optimized lift and excellent glide for agile turns and maximum efficiency on the water.

The Heart of Your Freeride Foil Setup

The Levitaz Free Series Front Wings are engineered for pure performance, unmatched durability, and absolute simplicity. Instead of just scaling a single shape up and down, each carbon foil wing was designed from the ground up and fine-tuned for its specific discipline.

Designed to pair perfectly with the Levitaz titanium fuselage system, these carbon wings feature a revolutionary direct-lamination design. There are no screws or additional hardware required to attach the front wing to the fuselage, resulting in the most direct, flex-free connection possible. You get maximum energy transfer, ultimate control, and a hydrofoil setup that takes seconds to assemble.

Choose Your Front Wing Size

Use the dropdown menu to select the front wing that perfectly matches your weight, local wind conditions, and riding style. Having tested all of these hydrofoils extensively, I have included my personal feedback below to help you make the right choice:

FW 540 (The Big Air & Speed Machine)

Built for freeracing, strong winds, and explosive freestyle. This wing generates lift surprisingly early but truly thrives when powered up.

My Personal Recommendation: I personally use the FW 540 mainly for kitefoiling to jump high and do speed runs in 12–30 knots. Top speeds of up to 60 km/h are absolutely possible, but I also love using it when I want a very playful, fast setup riding with straps or strapless.

FW 680 (The Ultimate “Swiss Army Knife”)

If you want one wing that does it all, this is it. It boasts a massive speed range and an incredibly low stall speed, letting you ride comfortably in just 5 knots. It is also brilliant for wingfoiling in strong winds (>20 knots) for lighter riders.

My Personal Recommendation: I use this front wing for 95% of my kitefoiling sessions because it truly does everything. I weigh around 70kg, and my speed range with this wing is 15 km/h to 58 km/h. Back in the day, I never used a kite smaller than 15m² for light wind; now, my biggest kite is a 12m², and I can tack and jibe in consistent 5-knot winds. I recommend this as a beginner kite foil if you weigh under 75kg!

FW 790 (The Versatile Wingfoiler’s Dream)

The ultimate all-rounder for everyday wingfoiling and parawinging. It offers a remarkably low take-off speed, remains highly agile, and reaches impressive top speeds.

My Personal Recommendation: For me, this is the most versatile front wing for wingfoiling. As an intermediate wingfoiler, I easily hit 45 km/h on this wing in 20 knots of wind. When it comes to kitefoiling, this wing is an absolute “cheat code” for learning tacks and jibes. I highly recommend it for heavier kitefoilers, beginners, or if you just love riding small kites (<12m²) when the wind drops below 10 knots.

FW 900 (Endless Glide & Light Wind Perfection)

Designed for maximum efficiency, endless glide, and easy pumping. This wing is pure joy for downwinders, surfing small waves, and light-wind foil sessions.

My Personal Recommendation: At my body weight of 70kg, this is my absolute go-to for wingfoiling in light winds (8–15 knots), doing long downwinders, or playing around in waves up to 1 meter. If you are a wingfoiler who weighs over 80kg, skip the FW 790 and make the FW 900 your everyday wing!
